Early College and Career Academy at Parkland College

During the week of October 29, two “Hot Rodders” engine teams comprised of area high school automotive students will be competing in the national Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV.  These two teams competed against others from throughout the state to qualify for this event.

 

Next Thursday, October 25, we are hosting a send-off and open practice event during their normal class time of 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.  Please see details below, along with the list of students who will be participating.  We would love for you to join us to see these students in action during practice and wish them luck at their upcoming national competition.  Feel free to stop in and leave at any point.  Refreshments will be available.

 

When: Thursday, October 25, 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.

 

Where: Parkland College Parkhill Applied Technology Center, Room T117.  This is a separate building in the northwest corner of Parkland’s campus.  It is labeled as the “T” building on the attached map.
